WWE 2K26 promotional material has possibly been teased by female wrestler Iyo Sky. On Instagram, Iyo Sky posted an image of herself in wrestling gear, filming at WWE Headquarters. According to Cory Hays of wrestling website bodyslam.net, it’s promotional material for “2K,” and this comes just hours before a possible reveal at RAW.
The upcoming January 5 episode of RAW is officially a collaboration with the Netflix series Stranger Things. The debut of RAW on Netflix in January 2025 teased WWE 2K25 with cover star Roman Reigns. Although nothing is confirmed, there’s a chance history could repeat itself with this year’s debut of RAW potentially teasing WWE 2K26.
As for Iyo Sky’s tease, there’s a range of possibilities. It could be for a live-action commercial as the 2K series releases one every year, and the outfit she’s wearing could possibly be her default attire.
Since 2K22, the 2K series has been revealed in January and released in March. Take-Two Interactive has already confirmed WWE 2K26 will release before March 31, coinciding with the WWE 2K24 servers shutting down.
So far, we’ve only officially seen the WWE 2K26 logo thanks to wrestler Xavier Woods and WWE alumni Tyler Breeze posting a behind-the-scenes picture.
Rumors claim CM Punk is the cover star for WWE 2K26. As for the roster, Darkstate’s Osiris Griffin has confirmed he’s scanned for the game, and a referee has also confirmed the scanning of referees from the Luca Libre promotion, AAA, which highly suggests AAA wrestlers will join the roster, too.
WWE 2K25’s latest update also hints at The Island returning, and it’s possible the WWE 2K26 roster could lose four wrestlers thanks to the uncertainty surrounding Mick Foley, as the Hall of Famer confirms he’s not extending his Legends contract beyond June 2026.
