The WWE 2K26 roster might be adding four new wrestlers. As spotted on the official WWEGames subreddit, Osiris Griffin, one of the members of Darkstate, has confirmed on X that he’s been scanned for the game.

Darkstate is a faction exclusive to WWE’s developmental brand, NXT. The faction debuted in February 2025 before having their first match in April, and it is a four-man band that includes wrestlers Osiris Griffin, Dion Lennox, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars. None of the other members have confirmed being scanned, but it’s likely, as Osiris has only ever been part of Darkstate since signing with WWE in 2024.

Although scanned wrestlers often make the roster, there are occasionally exceptions, such as NXT wrestler Kelani Jordan, who was scanned for 2K24 but didn’t make her video game debut until 2K25. So, while it’s likely Osiris Griffin and Darkstate will make their debut as part of the WWE 2K26 roster, it’s not guaranteed.

WWE 2K26 is officially scheduled to release before March 31, 2026. So far, we’ve only gotten a brief look at the game through Xavier Woods and Tyler Breeze filming content.

It’s expected that the game will be revealed in January, similar to previous years. According to rumors, CM Punk is the cover star, which, if true, suggests he will be involved with Showcase Mode. In addition to Showcase coming back, 2K25’s newest update suggests The Island is returning in 2K26, too.

2K always delivers the biggest roster with every new release. WWE 2K24 launched with 219 wrestlers, which was upstaged by 2K25 with over 300 at launch. It’s expected WWE 2K26 will continue the tradition of having the biggest roster, and it’s believed there’s a “significant chance” that AAA stars will join the roster, whereas TNA is more complicated.
