As you conclude your training arc with Master Enomoto in Teshio Ridge, you’ll unlock the Ghost of Yotei The Kusarigama’s Shame sensei quest. Presumably and loosely inspired by King Arthur’s sword in the stone myth, the quest tasks you with extracting Enomoto’s prized kusarigama from a stone owl statue in a hidden area behind his dojo.

Make your way back to the Ghost of Yotei The Kusarigama’s Shame animal carvings behind Master Enomoto’s Dojo in the north of Teshio Ridge. Equip the kusarigama (hold R2 + right on the D-pad), and then approach the kusarigama and tap triangle when prompted to free it from the statue.

After a short cutscene, you’ll discover that the Ghost of Yotei The Kusarigama’s Shame weapon is nothing more than a kusarigama skin, albeit a neat one with animal carvings, called the Kusarigama of Master Enomoto.
