Warhammer 40,000 games have been on a high note recently with Space Marine 2 causing Games Workshop’s best year ever. However, if you’ve finished slashing through Xenos scum as the ever-gruff Titus, perhaps it’s time to try out a new grimdark adventure: Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

A brilliant Left 4 Dead clone, Warhammer 40K: Darktide is an epic co-op first-person shooter designed by Fatshark, the team behind the Vermintide games, and it’s just hit its lowest-ever price for PC gamers.

Grab Warhammer 40K: Darktide for cheap

Right now on Fanatical, Fatshark’s brilliant Left 4 Dead clone can get grabbed for just $15.99 (£13.19). Buying the awesome co-op game on the service will chuck you a Steam key for the game which can be redeemed instantaneously.

Additionally, Darktide’s Imperial Edition, which comes with the Loyalist Pack, Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame, Caducades Backpack, 2,500 Aquilas (premium currency_ and the official soundtrack is also on sale. This more expensive version is available for $20.99 (£17.49), but it’s really only worth it for the banging OST.

As for the game itself, Warhammer 40K: Darktide is one of the best Warhammer games around, although it is a performance hog. While the game can be played on Steam Deck, we wouldn’t recommend it as the shooter often brings even powerful PCs to their knees when everything is kicking of.

After literal years of updates, Darktide has a tonne of content to play through with even more on the way. Some of this, such as the brand-new Arbites Class complete with Cyber Mastiff, is locked behind DLC but the upgrades are surprisingly affordable.

While the game is very playable in single-player, we would highly suggest getting Darktide if you have some friends that are also willing to jump into the grimdark world with you. It can be a fun and punishing game, but it’s definitely worth giving a go.
