kinect shot 1 -

SEGA has announced Rise of Nightmares, a new horror experience coming exclusively to Kinect for Xbox 360 in 2011.

Rise of Nightmares promises a spine-tingling, first-person horror adventure experience which uses Kinect to give players the "ultimate fright". SEGA says players will use their whole body and will experience fear and tension as never before.

Sounds interesting. Expect more info in the coming months.

Why does house of the overkill with no guns come to mind when I read this.... I have bad feeling about this....

True what said though man, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

This makes me laugh. Everyone wanted more core titles 4 titles later and we've found other holes to pick. Let's give these games some time before we rag on them. If they are released and turn out to be utter rubbish then we can rip into them.

seemingly on-rails title

This is one thing that bothers me about the motion games - everything seems to be on rails - seems a step back when we have finally got to the point in gaming that we can do what we want and go where we want in many games. I like to be in control!

What we saw of it at Microsoft's TGS keynote can best be described as a dark, seemingly on-rails title that has a real Silent Hill look and feel to it. There's blood, there's screaming, there's torture.

I like this a lot!

The game will make you shiver.

What I mean is the game will give you an instruction and you will need to shiver before it will continue. ;)

Just been looking at this it sounds rather promising. Reserve judgement till we see something solid. But finally TGS has provided some normal kinect games.
