Next Rage PC patch will help alleviate blurry textures

John Carmack promises improvement in forthcoming update.

The PC version of Rage is to receive another update that will help alleviate the blurry textures gamers are suffering.

"We have a bicubic-upsample+detail texture option for the next PC patch that will help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage," Tweeted Carmack.

The promised patch follows last week's update that introduced graphical tweaking, including a customisable Texture Cache setting.

Rage earned a solid 8/10 in our Rage review, and debuted at No.2 in the UK All Formats All Prices Video Game Chart.
