PSN accounts exceed 20 million

Home users have exceeded four million.
Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that the cumulative number of registered accounts on PlayStation Network has exceeded 20 million as of February 20, 2009.
The PlayStation Network launched on November 11, 2006 and reached five million registered users in one year and two months, 10 million in one year and ten months and exceeded 20 million in two years and three months.
PSN is a free service for the PS3 and PSP and is also accessible on a PC. Users in over 55 countries are currently able to access the service.
SCE also announced that PlayStation Home, which launched in December 2008, has seen its users expand to over four million in less than two months.

Microsoft's figures are equally baffling - 29m consoles sold but only 17 million Gold/Silver subscribers, that would indicate either roughly 41% of XBox 360 owners never hook their 360 up to the internet or there's another reason I'm missing for the small number of accounts compared to consoles sold.

and the Mrs has one but never uses it.
360 i have 1 gold which is mine and 2 silvers one for the wife one for my boys to share.

no you are wrong. these include psp users as well so ps3 + psp= over 40 million. Moreover, these include pc some users as well.
