The v29.40 Fortnite update has brought a lot of new content for fans to enjoy. While the new Star Wars collaboration is the highlight of the update, Epic Games has also added a lot of other new things with it. Fortnite players will be able to enjoy new items and cosmetics, but also a new event. This event will arrive at the end of the season, according to leaks.
The last event was Titan’s hand holding Pandora’s box. While this wasn’t a live event, many Fortnite players enjoyed breaking the chains and dropping the box. Epic will release another event in a similar fashion, and it should arrive in the final weeks of the current season.
When will the next Fortnite live event happen?
Several reputable leakers have shared a few interesting information regarding the end of the season. It appears that the upcoming event will feature a fight between loopers and Zeus, who is trying to destroy mankind.

Fortnite event
This event will be similar to the Hand, which is why we expect it to last for at least a week. The release date of the upcoming Fortnite event hasn’t been leaked yet. However, with Chapter 5 Season 3 coming on May 24, we expect it to come out over the next two weeks.
The codename of the event is SuperSport, and Epic will likely reveal the real name of the event shortly. According to NotPaloleaks on X (formerly Twitter), the event will contain the following:
- Teleportation
- Missions with rewards
- Hourglass
At the moment, it’s nearly impossible to put all these pieces together to figure out what exactly will happen. However, considering that the event is around the corner, we might get more leaks very soon.
