Nintendo Europe will be hosting a Nintendo Direct Wii U preview event this Thursday, where it's expected to announce European launch details for its upcoming console.

The conference invites viewers to "take a closer look at the upcoming Wii U console" and will be streamed live via the Nintendo Direct website at 3pm BST this Thursday, September 13.

The event will be hosted by NoE president Satoru Shibata.

The event coincides with a similar conference being held by Nintendo of America at the same time, where NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime will take to the stage to discuss Wii U.

Is Nintendo planning on rolling out global release details simultaneously? And has the console really been delayed in Europe? Hopefully, just hopefully, we'll find out this Thursday.

New stuff to check out

Announcements for announcements and trailers for trailers...

Getting sick to death of this tactic now.

I'm sure the end of that news item should have read "..find out, same bat time, same bat channel."

Anyway, Wednesday iPhone 5, Thursday Wii U. Busy week.
