The game, in development at Bleszinski’s firm Boss Key Productions had been given the codename Project BlueStreak prior to its reveal.
The game focuses on futuristic law enforcement officers attempting to repel marauding gangs which have clubbed together and attempted to take the US. The moon, of course, was also the subject of clandestine testing and has shattered, leading to pockets of zero-gravity which can be exploited.
Bleszinski said the “seed” of the idea had been in his mind for years, and sees LawBreakers as a fast-paced, team-focused action title which uses the gravity element to change up standard shooting.
