A sequel to the Afro Samurai games is in development at Redacted Studios, Indie game publisher Versus Evil has announced.

The game will be a third person action adventure, and includes an original storyline, new playable characters, and improved special moves and combos.

The publisher also announced Tangrin’s Kyn, a Viking inspired role-playing, strategy game featuring team based combat.

“Working with independent studios is truly rewarding and we couldn’t be happier to add Redacted Studios and Tangrin to a growing list of top indie studios,” said Steve Escalante, general manager of Versus Evil. “Afro Samurai and Kyn are two excellent and promising titles that we are privileged to be publishing. The talent present within these studios is simply amazing and we are really excited to work with them to bring these games to the market.”

No release date was given for the game, but more information will be released over the coming months.
