MCV reports that Activision is supporting the release of the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package DLC with a £1 million marketing campaign targeting the game’s 25 million players.

The money is being spent on extensive online marketing and TV, with a presence across Easter.

Activision’s marketing director for UK and Ireland David Tyler said: “We are excited about the content of the Stimulus Package and our gamers are going to be blown away by the new maps.”

The Stimulus Package is available now on the Xbox 360 for 1200 MS Points. PS3 and PC versions are to follow at a later date.
