Palworld:Weapons

Weapons are required in Palworld to both defeat and capture foes. These items are crafted at a primitive workbench, high-quality workbench, or a weapons workbench and are unlocked by progressively unlocking them using Technology Points as you level up.

Stronger weapons can be crafted using schematics obtained from chests, merchants, and defeating strong boss enemies.

Acquire

Weapons and armor must be unlocked before they can be crafted. To unlock weapons and armor, level up to the level of the item and use your technology points to unlock it via the technology menu.

Different weapon types require different workbenches to build. The following structures are required to craft the following weapons:

Primitive Workbench: Required to craft the Wooden Club, Old Bow, Stone Spear, Fire
Bow, Poison Bow, Bat, and Three-Shot Bow
High-Quality Workbench: Required to craft the Meat Cleaver, Metal Sphere, Crossbow,Fire Crossbow, Poison Crossbow, and Stun Baton
Weapons Workbench: Required to craft the Musket, Makeshift Handgun, Handgun, *Sword, Shock Grenade, Frag Grenade, and Ice Grenade
Weapon Assembly Line: Required to craft the Refined Metal Sphere, Single-Shot Rifle, Double-Barreled Shotgun, Pump-Action Shotgun, Assault Rifle
Weapon Assembly Line II - Required to craft the Rocket Launcher

Uses

The primary use of weapons in Palworld is to attack hostile Pals, NPCs, and bosses. Weapons can also be used to destroy physical objects such as trees, rocks, and ore but are not as effective as tools.

Weapon and Armor Types

Palworld has both ranged and melee weapons with more of a focus on ranged weapons. These weapons range from basic bows to powerful rocket launchers.

Armor in Palworld consists of cloth, pelt, metal, refined metal, and Pal metal armor. These armor types become unlocked as you progress through the technology tree. Armor is broken up into three types; standard, heat-resistant, and cold-resistant.

Shields

Shields are an extra layer of defense in Palworld that protects you from taking damage to your health. Once your shield has been depleted, you will take health damage. The following shields exist in Palworld:
