It means ‘quit the game’, implying that the other team are so bad that it is actually in their own interest to stop playing. The reason saying “F4” means that is a reference to the keyboard shortcut Alt + F4 which instantly quits the game and closes the window.

The slang has actually been around for a while but in a slightly different form. Players would try to convince other people that they would get a reward for entering the shortcut, and then revel in their trickery when the player suddenly disappeared, having been tricked into quitting the game. Lately, the term has become ingrained as slang, especially on TikTok, showing once again the ability of video game culture to spill over into the real world.
