Dungeons of Eternity
If you like magic, dungeons and fighting, then Dungeons of Eternity will be right up your street. It’s kind of medieval and futuristic at the same time, and there’s an endless choice of weapons to choose from. You can explore the endless dungeons either on your own or with friends, defeating all sorts of enemies and in general just messing about. It’s definitely up there as one of the best games you can play on Meta Quest 3 right now.
Drop Dead: The Cabin – Home Invasion
This game caught our attention and has only just released at the time of writing. It’s a mixed reality game, meaning you can map around your entire living room and try and stop the zombies from killing you. It looks insane and quite scary to be honest. Also a lot of fun, although maybe don’t play it on your own if you scare easily.
Rec Room
Free to play, Rec Room is hugely popular and a lot of fun. There are loads of different games to choose from, and players can explore millions of community created rooms. It’s social, dynamic and most enticingly, free!
Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition
MFSF looks incredible to play on the Quest 3, but you’ll need a high-end GPU to get consistently good FPS for the best details. This a game that really shows off the Quest 3’s bump in resolution (2064 x 2208 pixels per eye) and just suits being a game you can play in V
Resident Evil 4
One of the best games you can play VR, Resident Evil 4 is a game with an action packed plot that translates superbly to VR. As a tactical shooter, there’s puzzle-solving and grenade throwing. It’s also pretty laid-back when you’re not fighting an enemy. Definitely worth playing on your Quest 3.
Little Cities VR
Freshly updated for Meta Quest 3, Little Cities is one of our favourite city building games for VR. It’s also The game manages a good blend of relaxing gameplay with some difficulty. For anyone looking for a VR game where you can actually just sit on the sofa and not move too much, Little Cities would be a fine choice.
Vegas Infinite (free)
For a non-risky environment to play some gambling, try Vegas Infinite. It’s got all the glitz and glamour you could want from a Vegas casino. One of our favourite aspects of the game is getting dressed up too – there are plenty of accessories to choose from.
Golf+
Probably the best sport for VR gaming, Golf+ is pretty realistic with the Quest 3 with 11 iconic real-life golf courses. You can visit Pebble Beach and play alongside friends. Anyone interested in golf and unable to physically go out to a course will probably enjoy this game. It’s great to see the game being made more accessible too.
Final word
That’s it for our favourite Meta Quest 3 games, though expect this list to grow in the coming weeks.
