Starfield is Bethesda’s latest game and will be sure to impress gamers for years, joining Skyrim and Fallout in legend status. If you’re looking on longingly at the best graphics settings for Starfield, and realising your ancient GTX 1070 isn’t good enough, maybe you’re turning your head to GeForce Now. We’ve already had a look already what the minimum PC system requirements are asking, so if you think you can’t run the game from your hardware – maybe you can stream it via GeForce Now?

Is Starfield on GeForce Now?

At the time of writing, Starfield isn’t playable GeForce now. However, as of this summer, a number of PC titles have made their way onto the streaming surface, including some Bethesda games too. This is great news for anyone hoping to play Starfield via GeForce Now, but by no means take it as confirmation that it’s definitely happening. In the meantime, why not take a look at our Starfield review. AMD’s partnership with Bethesda Studios is another robust reason not to get your hopes up for Starfield coming to GeForce now, though who knows what’s going on behind the scenes.

Will Starfield come to GeForce Now?

There’s not really much information on whether or not it’s going to be coming to GeForce Now, though with their recent partnership it’s highly likely. At the moment, we can only speculate. If it does come to the streaming service – we don’t anticipate this for a few months more while sales are still so strong for Starfield.

What is GeForce Now?

GeForce Now is a game streaming service run by Nvidia. Different server racks powered by the latest RTX graphics cards run games and stream them to thousands of players across the globe. However, there’s a sort of exclusivity to what games run on these streaming services.

Bethesda’s parent company, Microsoft, clearly have allegiance to their own streaming service – Xbox Game Pass. It’s likely that Starfield will be first available on Xbox Game Pass.

What Bethesda games are one GeForce Now?

As of this summer, Bethesda Game Studios now has some games on GeForce Now including Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein. However, Starfield, Fallout, and Skyrim are noticeably absent, perhaps as Bethesda are simply their publishers rather than developers.

We’re going to be keeping an eye out for updates on Bethesda games on Nvidia’s streaming service, though for now it seems that Xbox Game Pass is the cheapest way to play the game. Unfortunately, you’re not going to be able to play it via cloud gaming – meaning you’re going to need a decent PC to run it.
