The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 first came out over a year ago, so it’s fair to wonder whether it still excels at gaming in 2023. The good news is that it does. It is now possible to get the laptop with mobile versions of the Nvidias 40-series range. These are the next generation of graphics cards and offer unrivalled power, being easily some of the best GPUs for raytracing.

We’ve linked above to a version with the RTX 4070, though there is also a version available with the RTX 4060 and RTX 4090. The former is a brand GPU not yet available on desktop, though its release date is likely to be soon. It is the most budget-friendly way to get your hands on a 40-series card that we’ve seen so far. This makes an RTX 4060 gaming laptop well worth the investment.
The RTX 4090, to put it simply, is the most powerful consumer graphics card currently available. Though this incredible power will, of course, have to be altered for a mobile GPU that can fit in a laptop.
