Best cases for RTX 4070 Ti Super at a glance

1. NZXT H9 Flow – Best case overall for RTX 4070 Ti Super

NZXT H9 Flow

NZXT H9 Flow

Size

Mid-tower

Radiator support

360mm

Features

Tempered glass front and side panels, cable management solution

Pros
  • Competitive pricing
  • High build quality
  • Tons of space
Cons
  • Limited top I/O

When it comes to the best mid towers on the market, our money’s on the NZXT H9 Flow. While it’s technically a mid tower, it’s so roomy and features exceptional cable management that it feels like building inside of a full tower. It’s further bolstered by a mesh top for increased airflow, and easy mounting for a 360mm radiator, as well as tempered glass side panel and front, too. There are also four included fans so you should be all good to go out of the box.

The only real criticism we have of this PC case is the top I/O which could be a little simplistic for some. You’ll find 2x USB-A and a single USB-C port alongside a 3.5mm jack, which while enough for us, could be limiting if you’d rather not reach behind the PC to plug your peripherals and other accessories in. Regardless, considering its price tag around the $150 mark, it’s an easy win in our books given the build quality, fantastic cable management, and space. We’ve built an RTX 4090 machine with it so can personally vouch for its quality.

2. Corsair 2000D – Best compact case for RTX 4070 Ti Super

Corsair 2000D

Corsair 2000D

Size

Mini-ITX

Radiator support

360mm

Features

3-slot GPU support, removable panels, steel mesh design

Pros
  • Small footprint
  • Full GPU and radiator support
  • Good pricing
Cons
  • Can be cramped to build in
  • RGB version costs extra

If you want to forgo a typical Mid-Tower but you still want the full-size building experience then we can strongly recommend the Corsair 2000D. We’ve built inside a couple of smaller boxes in the past, such as the NZXT H1, but this newcomer from Corsair takes the edge for a couple of crucial factors. Namely, this is its support for a 360mm radiator for your AIO, as well as being able to fit in a 3-slot GPU, such as the RTX 4070 Ti Super. Anything smaller and you would struggle to fit the card in comfortably.

What’s also great about the Corsair 2000D is that it’s easy to clean and modify. That’s because the steel mesh side panels can easily be removed which give you easy access to swap out your components, engage in cable management, and fit the RTX 4070 Ti Super. It also happens to have some of the best cooling we’ve ever seen from a case of this form factor; considering the $120 price range, you really can’t go wrong here, especially when factoring in it can often be found around $100 on sale.

3. Cooler Master Cosmos C700M – The best full tower for RTX 4070 Ti Super

Cooler Master Cosmos C700M

Cooler Master Cosmos C700M

Size

Full Tower

Radiator support

420mm

Features

Motherboard tray, ARGB lighting, included riser cable, Tempered glass panel

Pros
  • Room for custom loops
  • ARGB lighting
  • Premium construction
Cons
  • Expensive
  • Big and heavy

There are few names as revered with full towers as Cooler Master and the company’s Cosmos C700M has long stood as one of the greats of the form factor, but it certainly doesn’t come cheap. If you want the most space possible for fitting in a custom loop solution or several radiators with ease then it comes at a cost around the $600. For the money, that gets you an E-ATX compatible full tower complete with a curved tempered glass panel, included riser cable for vertical GPU mounting, and customizable ARGB lighting as well.

The modularity is the most impressive thing about the Cooler Master Cosmos C700M which is bolstered by a total of four 140mm so your cooling should be sorted straight out of the box, at least before you start thinking about how to keep your CPU in check. Just be aware that you’re going need a good amount of space for this big boy; it comes in at a staggering 25 inches high and 12 inches wide, so will likely live under your desk unless you’ve got one of the best gaming desks that can handle its 52lb / 23.8kg mass.

Best case for RTX 4070 Ti Super – FAQs

We’re here to answer any burning questions you may have before investing in a PC case for your build.

What size case do I need for an RTX 4070 Ti Super?

Generally, we recommend going for a suitable mid-tower for the RTX 4070 Ti Super or as small as a Mini-ITX case but you shouldn’t go any smaller. That’s because it’s a 3-slot card.

Is a mini-ITX good for gaming?

In our experience we think that a mini-ITX gaming PC can be just as good as a mid-tower or full tower build, but it requires an especially good PC case, a bespoke power supply, and a GPU riser for that more console-style form factor – and usually at higher prices, too.
