The mobile version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has drummed up over 200 million downloads, developer PUBG Corp. has announced.
Speaking with The Verge, the studio also revealed that the every-man-for-himself shooter regularly attracts around 30 million active players, not including China. For comparison's sake, Fortnite raced past 200 million downloads on all formats just last month.
PUBG Mobile launched in March and notched up 100 million downloads in just four months. At this point, the game was attracting around 14 million daily active users, so it's fair to say the title has gained popularity.
The game is set to cross over with Resident Evil 2 at some point, although no details have been confirmed yet.
