Over 500,000 physical copies of Fallout 4 were sold in the UK during the game’s launch week, GfK Chart Track has revealed.

As reported by MCV, the game’s strong debut makes it the 18th fastest-selling game of all time, and the third fastest-selling game of 2015. The figure does not include digital copies sold via Steam, PSN or Xbox Live.

The game is also reportedly “one of just four IPs to have sold more than half a million units in a week in the UK”. 53% of all physical copies were sold on PS4.

Last week, Bethesda announced that it had shipped 12 million copies of Fallout 4 worldwide to meet day one demand, “representing sales in excess of $750 million”.

Exact sales figures have yet to be announced.
