Dark Souls 3’s second DLC pack isn’t scheduled to release until early 2017, director Hidetaka Miyazaki has revealed, months after the first DLC pack arrives this autumn.

Speaking about the upcoming content in an interview with Taiwanese website GNN (translated via Google), Miyazaki explained that “two large sections” are currently in the works at developer FromSoftware, with “the first chapter [due to release] in the fall of 2016” and “the second chapter in early 2017”.

Bandai Namco has previously confirmed that the first DLC pack will arrive this autumn but has never officially dated the second. Both packs are included with the game’s Season Pass, which retails for £19.99.

While specific information on each pack has yet to be revealed, Namco says that the DLC will include new maps, bosses, enemies, weapons and armour sets. Individual prices have yet to be announced.
