Industry veteran Yu Suzuki, known for his work on the Virtua Fighter series, has joined Tokyo’s Premium Agency for an upcoming Kinect-based fighting game.
Suzuki has taken on the role of executive game producer and will advise on numerous social and mobile projects on top of the unnamed Kinect game.
He has stated in an interview with Develop, “I’ve been [interested in] the idea of integration of technology and entertainment faithfully as a game producer.”
Premium Agency has previously worked on the Naruto IP.
Yu Suzuki had previously spent his career working with SEGA. It’s unknown how this move will change his relationship with the company.
