Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 is the official game of the annual Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament and offers a simulation of the popular trading card game with players able to duel using the stylus.
Every aspect of the game has been recreated and the game includes all 1600 of the latest cards, enabling more attacking, spell-casting and defending possibilities. Owners of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Spirit Caller for DS will also be able to trade entire decks between the two games.
The game includes a wealth of single-player dueling possibilities against a host of CPU-controlled opponents. These include Limited Duels where only certain cards are available and Survival Duels where the aim is to beat a succession of duelists for as long as possible.
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 also includes a number of multiplayer game modes, both over a local wireless connection and using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to play against opponents the world over. Unfortunately each player will need a copy of the game as no game sharing is supported. When playing over Wi-Fi players can use the built-in microphone to chat before each duel.
As a bonus, and in keeping with previous Konami titles, the game will also be bundled with three limited edition Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for use in the trading card game.
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 is scheduled for release in April for the Nintendo DS.
