Frank O' Connor, development director for the Halo franchise, has reiterated that Halo Infinite will be released for the PC and Xbox One.
We've already know for some time that this will be the case, but O' Connor felt it necessary to hammer home the fact again in wake of rumours suggesting Halo Infinite would be a launch title for the new Xbox console.
One fan asked him about this on Twitter, prompting the following reply:
I have no idea what leak you're talking about, but Halo Infinite will be released for Xbox One and appropriately spec'd PCs.

Halo Infinite has been confirmed to appear at E3 this year, where it's also expected the Xbox Anaconda and Xbox Lockhart will be unveiled. Of course, we should keep in mind that there's nothing stopping Microsoft from making Halo Infinite a cross-gen title.
Recently, developer 343 Industries revealed that it considers Master Chief's latest outing as a spiritual reboot for the franchise.
