The Yakuza franchise is known for its wonderfully daft idiocyncracies, chief among which are a crate full of barmy mini games that players can indulge in when not curb-stomping fools across Kamurocho. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is no different, with departing hero Kazuma Kiryu able to get up to all sorts of shenanigans during his spare time.

You can get a taste of what’s in store yourself with the below trailer from Sega, which highlights everything from playing golf, pushing weights down the gym, hitting up the arcades, flirting with scantily-clad women, and of course karaoke, which has become something of a Yakuza series staple.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is due out exclusively on PS4 in the UK and US on March 20. The game catches up with Kiryu after he’s been banged up for the past three years following the events of Yakuza 5, where he travels to Hiroshima with a baby in tow to discover what happened to his pal Haruka.

Western fans have been waiting for Yakuza 6 for some time now, with the game having previously turned up in its native Japan back in late 2016.Â
