Nintendo’s latest Direct presentation has concluded, focused specifically on the upcoming RPG sequel Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Featuring a good long look at the game’s cast, the video also gave us an excellent idea of what we can expect when the game releases December 1.

In addition an Expansion Pass was revealed, offering an entire year’s worth of extra content starting with ‘helpful items for your adventure’ soon after launch, new quests for the main game from January, a new Rare Blade in Spring followed by a new challenge mode in Summer and new story content in Autumn 2018. The pass will set you back £26.99.

The Direct also revealed a special edition Pro Controller to be released on the same day as the game, as well as the contents of the special edition, including an art book and soundtrack.

Meanwhile, owners of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will also be treated to some free tie-in DLC as a new sidequest will be added to the game that allows you to dress up Link as Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s protagonist, Rex.
