The game’s £13.99 price tag is high for an iOS title, but remember that this is the complete Xcom experience from the PC version, optimised for touch screen devices. Head-to-head multiplayer is currently missing, but will be added as a free update at a later date.

The app is universal and is supported by iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5th Generation.
