Microsoft has fleshed out its Xbox Free Play Days lineup with the addition of alien-blasting sequel XCOM 2.
Alongside Just Cause 3, you'll be able to take XCOM 2 for a spin this weekend without coughing up your hard-earned cash for the privilege. As long as you're a member of Xbox Live Gold (and let's face it, who isn't these days?), you can start playing the strategy-fuelled title right now for free until 11.59 PST on Sunday, May 6.
There's also the added bonus that you can carry all your progress over to the full version of the game, if you find it your cup of tea and decide to fork out for the full version. If that's the case, you can take advantage of 67% percent off XCOM 2 and 25% off XCOM 2: War of the Chosen.
XCOM 2 was released back in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Read Alice's thoughts on the game here. Developer Firaxis recently confirmed that it will be bundling XCOM 2 with its accompanying DLC later this year.
