The video game adaptation of Reservoir Dogs went on sale last week, and was available on PS2, PC and Xbox. However, Eurogamer has learned that the Xbox version of the game had to be withdrawn from sale after a printing error was discovered.
“Eidos has recalled the Xbox version of Reservoir Dogs due to a printing error,” a spokesperson told Eurogamer. “We are working with retail to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.“
The PlayStation 2 and PC versions of the game were unaffected so remain on sale. The recall of the Xbox version could explain why first week sales of the title on the PS2 accounted for over 90% of the game’s total sales.
