Fed up of getting pestered by your Xbox LIVE mates while engrossed in a particularly riveting gaming session? Well, Microsoft’s got your back, with the availability of a ‘do not disturb’ option for the Xbox One.
The feature will cater specifically to those of you who want to game in peace online without receiving personal messages, party invites and other such notifications. Not that we think for one second that it’ll stop some people from trying to nag their mates all the same, mind.
‘Sometimes all you want to do is avoid all distractions and focus entirely on your game. We’ll be including a “Do not disturb” online status, which will suppress notifications and let your friends know that you’re not available for another game or activity right now,’ said Microsoft.
The update is being rolled out now for those who are taking part in the Xbox Insider beta, and will be made available to everyone else soon enough. Other changes include improvements to the Xbox Guide, which now allows you to view your closest locked Achievement and a Mini Games Hub for quick info and highlights.
