The Xbox One Media Remote has been officially announced by Microsoft after it was outed earlier in the month by Amazon.
Coming to all Xbox One markets in early March, the Xbox One Media Remote lets users control video playback for Blu-ray movies and streaming video on the console.
There are also dedicated Back and OneGuide buttons. The OneGuide button provides one-touch, quick access to your favourite TV shows and movies through the Xbox program guide (not available in Europe).
The remote can also control TV/Receiver power and volume through Kinect, which transmits IR signals to your TV and/or receiver.
And for an added wow factor, as soon as you pick up the remote, the motion-activated backlit buttons illuminate for easier use in poorly lit conditions.
A UK price has yet to be confirmed, but the remote will cost $24.99 in the US.
