Both Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles will launch on or before October 29, 2013, an update from the official Battlefield 4 Twitter account has suggested.
The account confirmed that – as previously speculated – DICE’s upcoming shooter will release on October 29, 2013, before listing the available platforms – including Xbox One and PS4.
Neither Microsoft or Sony have yet to announce an official release date for either console beyond a late 2013 launch.

This isn’t the first time a third-party publisher has dropped hints at the release date for next-gen consoles.
Back in March, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag’s creative director Jean Guesdon suggested that PS4 would be launching by November.
Xbox One was announced by Microsoft earlier this evening.
