Xbox has revealed the next set of games that will be available for no additional cost to subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass service.
A total of seven addition games have been revealed for the service over the next two weeks, not including today’s launch of Minecraft Legends which is also available to subscribers to Game Pass from today. Several of these are Day One releases too, launching directly onto the service the same day as their general release.
As per the Xbox Wire blog, the first game on offer is Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly. The sequel to 2020’s Coffee Talk (of course) – this visual novel introduces a whole new cast of coffee shop patrons, who’s stories you’ll get listen to and influence over a warm cup of Joe. It’ll be available on Cloud, Console and PC from April 20. It’ll be joined on the same day by the Xbox One release of Medieval Dynasty.
On April 21, Stardew Valley meets magical witches in Homestead Arcana, as you become a farming Witch who grows crops to power her spells. It’ll be available on Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S. Then, on April 26 comes the PC release of Cassette Beasts – an interesting Pokémon monster collecting and battling game, where the creatures are stored on – you guessed it, cassettes.
Anime beat-em-up BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Special Edition follows hot on its heels on April 27, and will be available on Cloud, Console and PC. You’ll get to fight with and against a whole host of characters from popular anime series like Persona 4 Arena and RWBY.
Another Day One release comes to the service on the same day – in the form of The Last Case of Benedict Fox. Expect the unexpected in this twisted metroidvania with a dash of Lovecraftian horror on Console and PC. Finally, this latest batch is rounded off with the upcoming launch of Redfall – with Arkane’s vampiric co-op shooter arriving on May 2 on Cloud, Console and PC.
