Rocket League game director Scott Rudi has confirmed that the popular vehicular footie outing is now available on Xbox Game Pass.

Those of you who already own the adrenaline-pumping title can snap up a range of downloadable content at a discounted price.

Rocket League originally launched back in 2015 and remains a hugelye popular multiplayer game, something which has been bolstered recently by the addition of cross-platform play. Well, unless you're on PlayStation 4 that is, as Sony's still being a grumpy old man and won't play ball.

Developer Psyonix has said that it's not likely to make a Rocket League 2 as it's more concerned with supporting the original game.

If you're into Rocket League multiplayer, then keep an eye out for the cross-platform party support update, due at some point this summer.
