The Xbox press conference at E3 2014 will run 90 minutes and won’t feature many execs in suits, Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios has confirmed.

Asked on Twitter if “this year’s E3 conference [will] be as game focused as last year’s?”, Spencer replied: “Yes, I think you’ll see very few execs.”

He added: “We are already over our 90 minute time limit and having to move stuff out of show.”

But what of the stuff being bumped out of the presser? Spencer says “there are other places for us to announce things at E3. Day 2, 3 etc. Show things on the floor”.

E3 2014 runs June 10-14, so you can expect Microsoft to blow most its load during a conference at the start of the week.

It sounds like E3 is going to be pretty exciting for Xbox fans this year, with announcements coming throughout the week. Halo seems a cert, as are Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break, but beyond that we don’t know what we’ll be seeing.
