The Xbox Core Wireless controller is the standard controller for the Xbox X/S series. It offers battery life of 40 hours and wide compatibility as a Bluetooth controller for windows.

This sale is on the green version of this controller which is the mainstream controller released with these consoles. It delivers a USB C charging controller with a grippy texture on the joysticks and a D pad which delivers a solid level of control. The USB support for PC configuration is fairly seamless and this could be a good buy if you are experimenting with cloud gaming on your PC and you need a wireless controller with the xbox game pass.
The geometry of this controller is slightly different to the 360 controllers.
