Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has Tweeted his congratulations to PlayStation and developer FromSoftware after it was announced PS4 exclusive Bloodborne had sold more than one million copies worldwide.
“I know some will question me but wanted to say it’s cool to see Bloodborne sell 1M+,” Tweeted Spencer.
He added: “New IP is hard, congrats @PlayStation @fromsoftware_pr”
Bloodborne was also widely praised by critics, earning a stonking 10/10 from our own Brett Phipps, who said: “It is Dark Souls 3 in all but name, a natural evolution for the series. There’ll be times when you feel genuinely lost, frustrated and unsure of your next step. But you will carry on, you will beat it, and when you do, there’s no other game that can make you feel more elated about doing so.”
