During a conference call with investors following the results of the publisher’s fourth quarter financials, Take-Two executives have revealed that the Xbox 360 is to receive more downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV than previously thought.
In addition to content arriving during the company’s fiscal 08 (ends October 31, 2008), further content is now believed to be on the way for fiscal 09 which could be anytime in the 12-month period following November 1. No further details were offered.
Grand Theft Auto IV is currently scheduled for release during Take-Two’s second quarter (February 1 – April 30 2008).
Update: Rockstar has told Next-Gen.biz that what was thought to be new content is actually just the second of two previously announced episodic content downloads. It had been intended for release in fiscal 2008, but has been delayed to the following year.
