If you fancy a sneak peek at what is just around the corner, players of World of Warcraft can now transfer characters to the test realms and try out all the changes and additions which are to be part of the next content patch, Gates of Ahn’Qiraj. Some of the highlights of the patch are new 20 and 40-player raid dungeons, linked auction houses, improved Battleground queues, and a host of other features.

For more information head over to the official World of Warcraft website. Whilst over on the official website I also noticed that World of Warcraft celebrates its first anniversary today, having been one year since its release in North America, Australia and New Zealand. To mark the one year anniversary the Blizzard team has put together a World of Warcraft community timeline featuring some of their favourite community generated content.
