Team 17’s popular Worms franchise will finally be released on Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday. The game has had a few problems getting to the finishing post, but now the wait is over.
In single-player you’ll have twenty increasingly difficult challenges to work through and the game will also feature support for four-player multiplayer battles, either locally on one machine or over Xbox Live.
Newcomers to the Worms franchise will be able to ease their way into the game via a series of tutorials and experienced Worm battlers should be able to get stuck straight into the action.
The game will also include the usual Xbox Live Arcade feature set of twelve Achievements, leaderboards and high definition visuals.
The icing on the cake is that the game will only cost 800 Microsoft Points and you’ll be able to buy it on March 7 from 0800 GMT.
