World of Warcraft Starter Edition has officially gone live.
The new free trial has rolled out alongside the Rise of the Firelands patch, and offers players free access to the game for the first 20 levels of their character.
Additionally players using the trial will be able to create draenei and blood elves, which were previously unavailable to trial users.
The gold limit on trial accounts has also been raised to 10 gold, allowing players to purchase mounts.
VideoGamer.com recently ran a feature analysing why WoW’s free-to-play model doesn’t matter.
