World of Warcraft lost over a million subscribers last quarter, dropping from 10.2 million to 9.1 million, Blizzard has announced.

Activision-Blizzard’s earnings call revealed the loss of over a tenth of WoW’s subscribers, but with the Mists of Pandaria DLC less than two months from release, this number could rise in the near future.

Back in October 2010 WoW reached a record high of 12 million subscribers.
