The Chinese news agency Xinhua is reporting that the parents of the boy claim their son died after jumping from a building in an attempt to re-enact a scene from the game. The parents are supported by the activist Zhang Chunliang, who campaigns to highlight the dangers of Internet Addiction.
Chunliang has talked with more than 60 parents whose children suffer from online gaming addiction, and is now to file a law suit against Blizzard, blaming the MMO giant for the boy’s death.
