Blizzard has announced its 2012 Arena Pass for World of Warcraft which lets users compete against one another in a dedicated Arena sandbox.

Beginning April 10, the Arena Pass will let players access special tournament realms using level-85 character templates and epic gear.

Additionally Blizzard is rewarding the purchase with an Armored Murloc pet, while top players will be able to earn a “Vanquisher” title for their live characters.

Users with a 2012 Arena Pass will also be able to access a level-90 realm with upgraded epic gear once they have upgraded their accounts with the Mists of Pandaria expansion.

No official release date has been announced for Mists of Pandaria, however a number of new trailers were recently released for the upcoming game at this year’s GDC.
