The Nintendo Switch version of award-winning Nazi shooter Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus will launch on June 29, publisher Bethesda has announced.

Wolfenstein 2 will arrive on the Big N's hybrid box in all its uncensored, over-the-top glory, and is being handled by Panic Button, the same studio that helped bring DOOM to the Switch last year. Hopefully this will run a little smoother, as DOOM often dipped in frame rate and sometimes coughed and spluttered when trying to run at 720p even when docked.

Originally released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2017, Wolfenstein 2 picks up in 1961 after the Nazis managed to conquer North America, and follows William 'B.J.' Blazkowicz as he attempts to form a resistance against the hostile forces.

To whet your appetite for the Switch edition, Bethesda has also released the first gameplay of Wolfenstein 2 running on Ninty's console. Check it out below.
