Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced the imminent availability of a free Wipeout Pulse demo. To give it a go you’ll need to log onto the PC version of the PlayStation Store, and transfer the file over to your PSP.

The demo features one track from the FX400 League and the choice of a Singe Race of Time Trial. The full game will boast 12 new reversible tracks, eight teams, new high-tech weapons, seven game modes and a new Mag-Strip feature which makes ships become locked to the track’s surface.

Sony is also promising a host of downloadable content to be made available post launch.

Look out for VideoGamer.com’s verdict on the game very soon.
