Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed that WipEout HD will be receiving an expansion pack this summer. The Fury expansion will include eight new tracks, 13 new ship models and three new game modes – two of which can be played online. As expected, new trophies will also be part of the package, while the front end will receive a makeover.
New game modes include Eliminator (destruction focused), Zone Battle (auto acceleration with tactical use of the zone bar) and Detonator (shoot mines to score points). All the new tracks will be presented in 1080p at 60 frames per second.
No price info has been revealed, but the expansion is due for release this summer.
