Does Insomniac intend to follow in the footsteps of Dead Rising 3 and Ryse and port Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive to PC at a later date?
That’s the question I put to community and marketing lead James Stevenson earlier this month who explained that, while there are no current plans for a PC port, the developer will “see what happens in the future” before deciding on a PC release.
“I don’t know what the future holds,” Stevenson said. “Right now there’s no plans for a PC version of the game. We’re just working hard to finish up [the Xbox One version]. We’re going to support it post-launch and then we’ll see what happens in the future. But there’s no plans. We aren’t planning a PC version or anything like that.”
For the time being, then, Sunset Overdrive seems like it’ll remain an Xbox One exclusive. But what do you think?
