Microsoft has told VideoGamer.com that it has “no news” to share regarding the future of Microsoft Points – including whether or not the virtual currency will carry over to Xbox One.
Microsoft’s Social Marketing Manager Graeme Boyd gave us the two word answer earlier this morning when asked whether Microsoft Points will carry over to the new console, and if not, what would happen to those with MSP sitting in their Xbox LIVE account.
It’s been rumoured previously that Microsoft is set to ditch Microsoft Points in favour of a currency and gift cards system.
Microsoft did not discuss details on the currency system intended for Xbox One during the console’s reveal last night.
