Wild West Online, the MMO cowboy romp that definitely does not look at all like Red Dead Redemption game, has officially launched on Steam following a spell in Early Access.
Set in Willwood Country, Wild West Online saddles you up and essentially gives you the reins to crafting your own unique western adventure, hopping into the boots of a number of roles such as a sheriff, outlaw, homesteader, and more.
However, the game's developer has lassoed in a whole bunch of new content to mark Wild West Online's full release today. Chiefly, you'll now be able to engage in Faction Territorial War, which lets you pick one of two rival factions and slug it out for control of Willwood's resources.
You also have the option to create a posse or do what that Jason Derulo song says and ride solo, but regardless of what path you take you're free to explore the open-world and take part in PvP events, fight for justice or just rob people blind. It's your call.
In addition, Wild West Online has been buffed with a barn full of extra PvE events allowing you to earn new skills and gear, or you can simply take it easy and buy a ranch, decorate it, hunt local wildlife, and even indulge in a spot of farming.
